We might be biased but this is our absolute favourite neighbourhood/area in all of Toronto. You’re steps away from the core entertainment district with plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs. Stackt Market is across the street and has a variety of events and activities, a basketball court, a brewery, and a rotating lineup of local shops and eats.
And if you enjoy the water, you’re only a 3-minute bike ride and a 10-minute walk away from the lakeshore trail. We HIGHLY recommend going for a bike ride west along the lakeshore trail if the weather is good. Ontario Place (great for weekend picnics or walks), Marilyn Bell Park (tennis courts, frisbee golf course), and a few small beaches are all on the way to Humber Bay Bridge.
You can also take a ferry to Centre Island from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal (~$10 to Centre Island, free on the way back), or catch a water taxi at various points along the harbour front like here or here (~$10 each way).
Farm Boy 😍💚 - Literally right downstairs. Super convenient and will have everything you need! Open 8am - 10pm daily.
Loblaws (585 Queen St W, or 15a Bathurst St) - if you feel like branching out from Farm Boy, there are two Loblaws close by, each about a 10-15 min walk
The Well just opened up! Many of the stores are still new/under construction, but you’ll be able to walk around and find some cool shops, bars and restaurants. Definitely don’t want to miss the Wellington Market Food Hall!
